more about us

Rising Phoenix Pictures was founded by Arick Salmea in 2009 after over a decade of experience in the acting world. With his multitude of diverse talents Arick decided that the only way to make the quality movies he wanted to see was to build a company to do just that!

He set out on a journey to rebuild his career around the new emerging technologies of multimedia and form Rising Phoenix Studios with its division dedicated to Film and TV and Web thus Rising Phoenix Pictures was born.

In its fourth year RPP acquired 3 motion picture projects including two TV pilots. With many more projects in the works, RPP seeks to establish a reputation for quality art-based films that seek to enlighten the human spirit.

In 2010, RPP acquired the option for Andrew Neiderman's novel entitled "Finding Satan." Neiderman is best known for his novel "The Devil's Advocate" and is a return for Neiderman to his writing of ultimate baddies. Arick along with writing partner Daoud, took on scribe duty and penned the script entitled "AURA." Several attachments are in the works and a distribution deal with a major distributor is being negotiated.

RPP having produced the successful feature documentary about Nobel Laureate FA Hayek entitled "The Hayek Prophecies" is now working on a 'found-footage' film entitled "Haunted Seas." And later this year the new feature film "The Last Con" will go into production.

Rising Phoenix Pictures has a commitment to making great content for all avenues of media and is working closely with filmmakers and writers to deliver truth & beauty.
